#DonnePersephone radio drama

As part of Ludovica Valori's radio show, “Valori in corso,” on RadioCittàAperta.it (media partner), the premiere of the radio drama Donne Perse(phone) aired, adapted from Annalisa Venditti’s play Donne Persephone, published by de’ Merangoli. This initiative by Music Theatre International-ETS began in 2016, continuing to raise awareness about violence against women by giving voice to those without one. Female “voice donors,” including past performers and volunteers, lend their voices in solidarity.

Voices and Musicians
Actresses: Giovanna Barbero, Erika Sharon Biancone, Valentina Coletta, and others
Narrators: Livia Ventimiglia, Gianluca Fabi
Music: Se ti vedessi (Traindeville), Bella ciao (reimagined from Mondine di Porporana chorus), a traditional Persian lullaby.

Non-profit, the project promotes the accessibility of Donne Persephone, creating a culture of equality and inclusion.
