Around the World in 72 Days: The Journey of Nellie Bly
The project "Nellie Bly's Journey," supported by MiC and SIAE as part of the "Per Chi Crea" program, is a theatre production that celebrates the historic trip of journalist Nellie Bly. At age 24, Bly circumnavigated the globe in 72 days, defying conventions as the first woman to do so without male accompaniment. The production, directed by Paola Sarcina and Diana Forlani, vividly recounts her adventurous journey with a rich combination of drama, historical images, and music. The tour will take place across Italy in 2024, with several performances already scheduled.
