Ancient music
Curiosity drives me to explore, leading me from piano studies as a child with my strict, Naples-trained grandmother to my diploma and chamber music specialization at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia. I also trained as a choir director, delving into Baroque music with “Furiosi Affetti.” While exploring different musical styles, from Neapolitan songs to Armenian and Japanese music, I have traveled and performed widely, playing diverse genres. Today, if asked what I wish to do, I’d answer: Everything.
Chamber music
I am a teacher and chamber pianist, trained by Maureen Jones, Alberto Ciammarughi, Sergio Cafaro, and Antonio Bacchelli. I’ve recorded for Vatican Radio, Rai Uno, and Rai-Radio Tre, both as a soloist and in a duo with oboist Silvia Nesi. I’ve participated in the Ascoli Piceno Festival, Festival Liszt, and Music Festival Terre d’Arezzo, collaborating with artists such as Alirio Diaz, Walter Maestosi, and Lydia Biondi. I’m currently collaborating with musicians including Romolo Balzani and Rosaria Angotti, with whom I recorded Goffredo Petrassi’s Canti della Campagna Romana (Da Vinci Records). I’ve brought Enoch Arden by R. Strauss to Italian theaters with Vanessa Gravina and direct multiple music competitions. Since 2016, I have been a member of M.Th.I.
Dance
I am a dancer, choreographer, and teacher specializing in classical dance, with a degree in Dance Studies. I've trained with renowned international masters, refining my skills in dance-theater. I have created choreography for prominent cultural events, collaborated with directors like Lydia Biondi, and performed in prestigious venues such as the Teatro Argentina. As the founder and director of the Stefania Toscano Dance Company, I lead workshops and classes in Vaganova technique. I’m also a member of MThI, where I oversee the dance sector and engage in European cultural projects.
Theatre and event
I am an actress and philosophical consultant. After graduating from YD Actors Studio in Rome in 2013, I have performed in multiple productions both in Italy and internationally (Croatia, Morocco, USA). I also act in independent films, short films, and television. With a degree in Philosophy and a master’s in Philosophical Consulting and Cultural Mediation from Roma Tre University, I teach at secondary schools. I design and lead educational and social projects combining philosophy and theater for schools and public and private institutions.
Photos and visual communication
I am a professional photographer, a member of the National Association of Professional Photographers Tau Visual since 2007 and MThI since 2018. My education includes studies at IED and the Rossellini Institute for Cinematography, followed by significant experience assisting in renowned studios, such as that of Elisabetta Catalano. I began my photography career in 1992, with publications in Harper's Bazaar. My approach focuses on using photography to tell stories of people and places, often aiming to capture genuine smiles and create a comfortable, professional setting. In 2001, I co-founded the Bycam Communication Agency, developing skills in Social Media Marketing and SEO. In 2015, along with Riccardo Cattani, I co-created the "Mostre Diffuse Fotografia," a project showcasing lesser-known Italian areas through exhibitions in historical centers. I have exhibited widely in Italy and abroad.
Dissemination while having fun
