Gerardo Dino Ruggiero. Actor, mime and professional director since 1979, he has specialized in the use and acting with and without the Mask (Commedia dell’Arte) at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan with Ferruccio Soleri and in mime at the Ecole International de Mimodrame by Marcel Marceau of Paris. He curates workshops in Italy and abroad; he collaborates with the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome for which he has set up shows, historical re-enactments and of Living Statue performances in museums and archaeological areas (Palazzo Altemps, Centrale Montemartini, Museo delle Navi di Nemi, Museum of Lavinium, Crustumerium). Since many years he promotes the historical re-enactment of the coronation of Charlemagne in Ponte Nomentano (Rome). As promoter of theater and history, he collaborates with schools of all types and levels. He practices juggling and acrobatics. As a clown he has done laughter therapy in hospitals for adults and children, collaborating also with the well-known immunologist Franco Mandelli. Professor at UPTER, he gives lectures in Italy and abroad. With the cultural association he founded and directed Il Carro de ‘Comici, he has collaborated for over ten years with M.Th.I..
